Lawsuits

 This lawsuit was filed by two community members whose rights were violated when the district required ID to attend a public meeting. This requirement violates the Sunshine Act, which mandates openness and transparency from school boards, ensuring that they conduct business ethically and remain accountable to the public they serve. Contrary to rumors circulating in the community, the plaintiffs are not seeking any financial compensation from this case. Here

 At the August 29, 2024 meeting, the district permitted a pro-board group to gather at the entrance to the meeting location while requiring others to remain off school property.  Here

Souderton Area School District sent Cease and Desist Letters  banning two parents and one former student from school property as retaliation for criticisms leveled at a school board member who posted lewd comments with no due process. Here

We have the right to know.  A Right to Know request was submitted to find out if our district is working with Vermillion Education -- which has ties to the far-right stemming from Jordan Adams, the company's CEO but the refused to provide the information.  A lawsuit was filed and they continue to spend your tax dollars in an effort to cover up their spending and agenda.
