Decision Regarding Not Changing Venue - 9/26
Despite numerous requests to move the venue for the 9/26/2024 meeting, they refused, leaving community members standing outside the district office, unable to enter. What led them to deny the change? Response: None Available
Baseball Team Attendance
On 9/26, not only did they refuse to change the venue, but 20 seats were filled by the baseball team. Did the board, administration, or athletic department make attendance mandatory for the players or offer them perks to attend, thereby limiting space for community members? Response: None Available
Board/Administration Email/Texts or other correspondence specific to Bill Formica Social Media posts
The school board has nine members, yet not one has commented on this issue. Does their silence imply that they all find this acceptable, or are they being silenced? See Emails Here. They only included emails sent by the community but not the board/admin correspondence. Of the 178 total emails received. 144 of them Demanded Formica's Resignation. 28 Support Formica's racist and sexist comments. The remainder were neutral. Are they listening to the community? 81% of the emails they received demanded his resignation.
Contracts that have been awarded to companies that financially benefit the board members.
At least one board member owns 12 LLCs, another owns two businesses, and one serves as a Vice President of Consulting for a Global Firm—what exactly does that entail? Do they do any consulting at Souderton? Yet another is busy starting or acquiring companies and turning them into highly profitable organizations. I think we all deserve more information. Are any of them profiting from district contracts? Asking for 47,000 friends.

For the safety of our children, teachers and school personnel are required to undergo regular child protection and criminal record clearances. Now I’m questioning everything, given how much they’ve chosen to hide
Ransomware Attack Costs
In 2019, the district experienced a ransomware attack but provided little transparency about the incident and never disclosed how it was resolved. Did they pay the ransom? We have the right to know!
Legal Costs for Bill Formica social media issues
The Bill Formica social media issue resulted in legal fees for the district and taxpayers due to their refusal to address it directly. What has this cost us?
Vermillion/Independence Law Center correspondence
Visit the legal documents page for more details. Earlier this year, a request for information was submitted, but the district refused to provide it. As a result, another lawsuit has been filed against them. We have the right to know: what are they hiding, and why are they using our tax dollars to conceal their actions?
