Long before I became aware of the dysfunction, deception, and dictatorship-like behavior of the Souderton School Board, there were groups already rallying, protesting, speaking at meetings, and fighting tirelessly for change. These groups have grown and continue to do so. If you are part of Souderton Area for All (SAFA), Souderton Area for Responsible Leadership (SAFRL), the Save Souderton Coalition, or simply a community member who sees through all the bluster and deceit, I want to thank you.

Thank you for everything you have done, for all you continue to do, and for standing up for what is right—for the students, for our tax dollars, and for decency for all.

I hope you see this site as a valuable resource for documenting and exposing all the deceptive practices.  This board has used the district police force, the solicitor, and YOUR tax dollars to shield themselves from accountability. My goal is to make it useful, informative, and factual—though you might find a few snarky comments along the way.

That being said, if you are reading this and not already actively involved, I ask you to reach out. WE NEED YOU!

Here are just some of the roles we need help with:

• Social Media: Manage accounts and spread awareness.

• Writing Letters to the Editor: Get our message published in local media.

• Graphic Design: Create impactful visuals, infographics, etc.

• Fill The Room: Attend meetings, take notes, and hold the board accountable.

• Right to Know Requests: Share ideas or help draft and submit them.

• Database Management: Organize and maintain database for maximum impact.

• Research: Dive into policies, finances, and board decisions to uncover the truth.

• Fundraising: Help secure the financial support we need to keep this effort going.

• Community Outreach: Connect with others who share our concerns.

• Legal Support: Your expertise could be invaluable.

• Administrative Support: Help with  communications, and day-to-day tasks.

• Data Analyst: Transforming raw data into meaningful insights.

It’s time for the Souderton School Board to live up to its own tagline: Character Counts. Let’s hold them accountable and demand they start acting like it.

One of the most impactful ways we can bring about change is by supporting and championing candidates who truly represent the community’s values—candidates who prioritize transparency, fiscal responsibility, and respect for all. Together, we can empower these individuals, ensure they have the resources and support they need to succeed, and make meaningful changes at the ballot box. Let’s turn frustration into action and fight for a school board that works for everyone.
